The firm has a significant presence in Japan's financial markets and maintains a global footprint. ### Job Responsibilities: - Understand risk associated with the Global Markets trading desks and articulate it clearly to stakeholders. - Monitor and report Stop/Loss breaches by traders in Japan, ensuring proper escalation. - Track market trends and create summaries for weekly risk calls. - Create and update daily risk reports using Python to monitor trading positions and risk trends both locally and globally. - Multi-tasking and the ability to analyze both high-level and detailed technical information is essential for this role. ### Requirements: - Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese is preferred. - Solid understanding of financial markets and products. - Genuine curiosity about Global Markets, Risk, and Market Risk functions. - Programming skills in Python or a willingness to learn. - Possession of JSDA 1 Certificate or commitment to obtain it post-employment is required. - Preferred experience in Market Risk, Operations, or related technical functions. ### Benefits: - International work environment. - Hybrid work model. - Opportunities for internal mobility, including global positions. - Career progression through learning and taking on increased responsibilities.
